position:

We are seeking MEP Engineers at all levels to join our MEP Engineering Team. The Engineer will actively engage in the preparation and organization of project documentation, encompassing MEP surveys, construction document creation, and construction administration as directed by the Project Manager. This position requires the ability to modify or generate documents and drawings independently, utilizing engineering techniques and exercising sound judgment.


responsibilities:

  • Engage actively in the preparation and organization of project documentation, including conducting and documenting MEP surveys, designing construction documents, and providing detailed information as directed by the Project Manager.
  • Modify or create documents and drawings with limited guidance, applying engineering techniques, calculations and exercising independent judgment.
  • Participate in client and consultant meetings as necessary or as directed by supervisors.
  • Aid in continual communication and coordination with consultants and in-house teams throughout all stages of the project, daily.
  • Execute deliverables according to scope of services, industry best practices, Rogue standards, and quality expectations.
  • Anticipate job expectations and contribute to project and design solutions.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss project issues, technical matters, and coordinate with various disciplines.
  • Develop a beginning understanding of project finances and profitability.
  • Take responsibility for thorough and accurate completion and coordination of redlines.
  • Participate in Continuing Education programs to maintain competency.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Possess sufficient knowledge in all disciplines to coordinate designs amongst the team.
  • Demonstrate competency in Building Code research.
  • Complete timesheets, update project dates/percent complete, as required in Ajera (project management application), and log daily and weekly activities.


requirements:

  • Accredited degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • EIT, CPD, or PE Certification preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Ajera, and Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with Energy Compliance Checks.
  • Rudimentary understanding of architectural building systems.
  • Basic comprehension of Building Codes and the ability to research, apply, and incorporate them into documents.
